SCCS presenting paper at USENIX LISA 2012 conference

The Swarthmore College Computer Society (SCCS) will present a paper entitled Managing User Requests with the Grand Unified Task System (GUTS) at the Large Installation System Administration Conference (LISA) in San Diego in December 2012. The authors of the paper are Andrew Stromme '12, Dougal Sutherland '11, Alex Burka '12, Ben Lipton '12, Nick Felt '13, Becca Roelofs '13, Daniel Feist-Alexandrov '15, Steve Dini '13, and Allen Welkie '13. The paper describes a successful SCCS project to create a software interface to manage requests such as creating new user accounts, creating new mailing lists, setting up git repositories, and creating student group website space.
