cs ninjas

In both CS21 and CS35 we have student mentors (we call them ninjas!) that assist students in class and hold study sessions. The CS21 study sessions are usually in the robot lab (SCI 252) on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm.

Students are invited to participate in these study sessions to prepare for quizzes, to discuss programming concepts, and to get friendly assistance in working on homework assignments. Our CS mentoring team is dedicated to helping students, who have no prior knowledge of computer science, learn to program while keeping their senses of humor intact. And last, but not least, snacks are provided at most study sessions!

Betsy Horner, our Student Support person and ninja wrangler, also serves as a mentor, and can be reached at bhorner1 or 957-6062.

This year's ninjas include Amanda, Ashley, Maria, Celest, Malcolm, and Meggie.
