- How to use the SciKit-Learn library to perform PCA
- How to use PCA to visualize data
- How to use t-SNE to visualize data
- More practice with matplotlib for visualization
- How to use PCA for pre-processing
- How to evaluate the number of principal components that are necessary and/or useful for a given task
Starting point code
Use git to clone your lab repo from github.swarthmore.edu as usual, then open the notebook with Jupyter Lab. Detailed instructions on the lab are included in the notebook.
Submitting
When you are finished, use git to add, commit, and push your work as usual.
