ACM programming contest results

Today (Sat, Nov 5) two Swarthmore CS teams competed in the Association for Computing Machinery International Collegiate Programming Contest. They were:

• The Hamster Crows: Abigail Henderson, Becca Roelofs, and Ben Lipton, finishing 2nd out of 13 teams locally and 16th out of 159 teams in our region.
• The Void Stars: Gabe Ryan, Jon Gluck, and Luis Ramirez, finishing 5th locally and 114th in the region.

Our local competition includes teams from D.C., Baltimore, Philly and surrounding areas. Our Mid-Atlantic region includes most of the east coast states from North Carolina to New Jersey.
